Demon's Crystals

Demon's Crystals

This is a twin stick shooter with a co-op feature of 4 players, a survival mode and 6 games of multi-player. It features 4 characters (yellow, red, blue, green) no difference between them except look, they each level up as you progress in arcade mode.

Arcade Mode is the main mode it contains 3 world's 8 levels per world plus a end world boss level. The levels consist of killing "x" number of enemies or collect "x" number of crystals and sometimes the combination of both, all within a time limit. Weapons spawn in randomly along with time up or in the worst cases time down, speed up and other boosters. Each level requires you to get past 1-3 round. The most common is 2 rounds your health does not refill in second wave and if you die you restart the whole level.

This can be an easy completion if you don't get stuck on a level (which can happen) or the last boss (rage). Most achievements are kill so many enemies/types, collect crystals and beat the 3 bosses plus beating the game (last boss) on the different difficulties (don't stack). Now the down side the spawn of the enemies and certain levels that seem to screw you over with out giving you a power up (power ups last for short amount of time) and later levels give less time to complete tasks.

This is a pass unless it's really cheap or free with the game pass. The main reason for me is the last boss but there are 2 other levels that put great constraint on time to collect crystals where the add time powerup turns into time down.

  • This is another easy platformish game. A fun game with the mechanic of turning on electronics, since your an orb of electricity. There are some tricky sections near the end of the game with jumping and activating something, not knowing where it is to activate. This is another good 1k game to get your completion numbers up.

  • Well it is a Spider-Man game. The game itself isn't that bad yes the camera and some mechanics aren't great but it's a lot better than earlier openish world Spider-Man games. The difficulty wasn't noticeable if trying to beat the game on Hard. The worst part was the combat challenges. Well those problems I said aren't that bad, yeah in the challenges they are really F'n...

  • So the guys that did Castle Crashers are back with Pit People and it's pretty good. This is still in preview (don't know why) but can be completed in just a few hours. Only 2 achievements could be a little tricky. It's a turn based RPG collect weapons, armor, and catch characters to broaden your roster. The 2 achievements that can be bad are beat a player online and win...

  • If you love slasher films, if you love bloody disgusting deaths, if you love puzzle games this is your game. This game is a fun puzzle slasher. You get to scare and kill all the victims in some gruesome ways. You need to buy some more of the kill sequences and can grind coins in the kill mini-game but it's kinda fun. You slide your murderer around trying to kill all the victims...

  • Another free MMO has hit the market with Skyforge which mean more MMO microtransactions. The mechanics and playability is really nothing new to the MMO genre, the only thing that I found good was the quick change of your class. If you've unlocked a class (you get 3 from the start) you can quick change between them when not in battle. How the quick change works. You basically...
